Robert R. Brown, 88, of Machesney Park, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 1, 2017, in his home. Born May 15, 1929, in Dexterville, WI, the son of Ray D. and Edna M. (Hiles) Brown. Employed as an ironworker with Local #498 for 65 years. Survivors include three sons, R. Douglas Brown, Loren R. Brown and Gordon R. Brown; grandchildren, Jamie Brown, Holly Buss and Jill Block. Predeceased by parents and two sisters, Mary Jane Martinovich and Beverly Humpschel.
Memorial service at 10 a.m., July 7, Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, donation to local charity of your choice.
